
James Mac Inerney is an Irish makeup artist & photographer, based in London & Dublin.
His skills range from beauty, editorial, SFX to TV/Film, commercial & Theatrical makeup. His photographic work varies from conceptual portraiture to editorial, events & wedding photography, with 7 years experience.
A graduate of Dublin City University, Ireland, with a BSc in Multimedia. He was lead photographer in his 1st class honours group thesis "Perception". His work & projects were recognised throughout the three years in university through various accolades.
James furthered his skills, graduating from VanityX Makeup Academy & Studio in Dublin 2017 with a diploma in Beauty, Fashion, Theatre & Media Makeup. James was awarded Social Media Student Of The Year for his online presence and self promotion.
Passionate for both photography and makeup, he competed to win "Creative Artist" & "Creative Facechart of the Year" at the Irish Beauty Fair, RDS, Dublin.

Other Tv productions include BBC Three's "Fully Blown", Chanel 4's "This Way Up" written and produced by Aisling Bea, ITV's "Hey Tracey" & Netflix feature film Rebecca (2020).
